Festival Internazionale Corale Verona Garda Estate

I had the privilege of traveling to the Festival Internazionale Corale Verona Garda Estate this month as a pianist for the Choeur Amivoix de Varennes. Each night, we performed a mixture of classical and popular repertoire in a new town, along with choirs from Austria, Germany, and Italy.

J'ai eu le privilège de me rendre au Festival Internazionale Corale Verona Garda Estate cet été en tant que pianiste pour le Chœur Amivoix de Varennes. Chaque soir, nous avons interprété un mélange de répertoire classique et populaire, toujours dans une ville différente. Des chœurs d'autriche, d'allemagne et d'italie ont également été représentés.

Master's in Collaborative Piano at McGill University

This year, I returned to school as a Master’s student in Collaborative Piano at McGill University, studying with Professor Michael McMahon. It’s been challenging and stimulating and of course, filled with lots of music-making!

Pianist for Symphonic Cinema's workshop of Ariella

I recently had the chance to be the pianist for Symphonic Cinema’s workshop of Jaap Nico Hamburger’s new opera, Ariella, alongside members of the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra de Montréal. Symphonic Cinema is a Netherlands-based company that aims to create an innovative format for classical music, creating cinematic renditions of classical pieces that respond and adjust to live performances in real time.

It was such a thrill to be the orchestra for this workshop, alongside conductor Vincent de Kort, librettist Thomas Beijer, director Lucas van Woerkum, producer Wim Lehnhausen, and of course, the composer himself! I can’t wait to see how this project unfolds.

I have the immense honor to commission my first piece of music from composer from composer Jaap Nico Hamburger thanks to a Research and Creation Grant from the Canada Council for the Arts. Residency and Concert at Théâtre du Marais de Val-Morin

I feel very honored to have been asked to participate in Marie-Noëlle Choquette’s residency and concert in her hometown of Val-Morin this September. We first worked together on this multi-disciplinary project last January, and now Marie-Noëlle has received a Partenariat Territorial grant from the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec to work on and present this concert at the Théâtre du Marais de Val-Morin. She has called on local poets, actors, and lighting specialists to participate in this production which will be performed live and streamed virtually after the concert. Residency at La Maison de la Culture Pointe-aux-Trembles

This week, I had the chance to participate in an artistic residency at the Maison de la Culture Pointe-aux-Trembles alongside two talented and creative women, Marie-Noëlle Choquette and Andréanne Joubert , developing a concert entitled, ''Dialogues Nocturnes.'' A lovely and inspiring experience!

Cette semaine, j'ai eu la chance de participer à une résidence artistique avec deux femmes talentueuses et créatives dans le but de développer un spectacle intitulé, ''Dialogues Nocturnes.'' Merci à la Maison de la Culture Pointe-aux-Trembles, Marie-Noëlle Choquette, et Andréanne Joubert pour cette belle éxperience.

Virtual concert at La Maison de la Culture Pointe-aux-Trembles

Russian Coaching

Hi singers! I'm using this quarantine time to start doing some Russian coaching online. After quite a few people expressed interest in working on their Russian arias and songs together, I've decided to make it official! I've opened up some individual and group slots over the next few months and would love to work with you on your repertoire and introduce you to some basic principles of Russian diction and style.
